Advanced Training in Shamanism
Online: Saturdays 9:00-3:00 PDT/PST
The following classes were developed for continued learning for graduates of my 2nd year program. A few are accessible with no previous training other than experience with shamanic journeying, like Meeting the Fair Folk, Shamanism and Crystals, and Structural Constellations for a Shamanic Practice.
The series of advanced depossession classes require a foundation training in depossession. Please contact Michelle with your training experience and/or for more information if you have not studied with her. Once approved you’ll be sent a registration/payment link.
You can take individual classes, or the full series. Advanced classes have prerequisites. These classes are meant to be attended at the time of the class. Benefits of taking the series is a monthly practice/mentor group, and access to review a class recordings.

Advanced Soul Retrieval
Prerequsite: Soul Retrieval Training
This class introduces working with soul loss and retrieval related to past lives, rehabilitation and strengthening of soul parts, and deeper aspects and effects of soul stealing. These include soul stealing from jobs, organized religion, cults, family patterns and lineages, and collective soul stealing. We’ll also learn a practice called soul-hiding that can be done to protect vulnerable soul parts in challenging situations.

Working with Complex Human Spirits in Depossession and Psychopomp
Prerequisite: foundation training in depossession with Michelle or equivalent
Deepening your depossession experience, we’ll work with deceased beings who are stuck because of belief systems, karma, mental illness, addiction, alliances with groups of people, etc. helping them find a place of peace. You’ll learn about how to detect if there are nested beings and how to clear them. We will also work with how to help clients recover from these kinds of possessions.

Structural Constellations For a Shamanic Practice
Structural constellations are unique, as they provide way to map things out. With people and dynamics, looming obstacles, which linage does a persistent issue originate, or entanglement with a troubled ancestor. It works well for decision making, timelines, what is needed, incompatible elements, the root challenge by defining and spatially mapping things out and testing them.
In healing work I like to use this to map out which side of the family and generation a particular pattern or issue is rooted. Locate where there is the health in the system. Explore what resource is needed in someone’s being to help them with their current challenges. Looking at different elements in someone’s life, and testing if they are strengthening or weakening, positive or negative.
It is also helpful for business, job, and creative concerns. We’ll look at ways to help prioritize different aspects of a business or job, explore what is needed for someone to move forward into their vision.
Well focus on issues you bring to work with, be it your own, or a clients.

Unraveling the effects of Sorcery and other Lineages – Depossession, Psychopomp and Curses
Prerequisite: foundation training in depossession with Michelle or equivalent
Some people have present or past life possessions or alliances/debt/curses associated with sorcerers, which can involve challenging dynamics. There are also other lineages where people tend to have similar entanglements, where there is an unconscious debt or loyalty to the predecessors or ancestors.
The living are often unconsciously beholden to supporting a lineage of deceased ancestors who have not crossed over. We will learn to work with these lineages in a compassionate way that frees the living and the deceased from hungry ghosts of the past, ending the perpetuation of these patterns, and helping them find peace.
There are slightly different methods for working with different lineages. We’ll be focusing on three.

Meeting the Fair Folk
Impossible to neatly categorize, we will learn a bit about the vast range of beings that we know from folklore, from stories passed down in our families, and people who know them today. They are ethnocentric beings that live among us, in their own realms and habitats around the world. Beings like the faerie, Sasquatch, giants, elementals to name a few.
We’ll explore human-faerie relationships like the collaborative experiences at Findhorn, discuss people who have had direct experiences with them. They are known to cultures around the world that acknowledge their existence as real. We’ll learn how to perceive them, about etiquette, and cautions. We’ll meet our faerie companion, an emissary from this complex realm that is a guide who can help us understand customs and taboos while navigating our relationships with those who walk beside us.
In shamanic practice, our companion can be especially helpful as an ally in working with nature, gardens, and coming together to collaborate in restoring this beautiful planet. They can also help with problems inflicted on humans by fair folk. Living in a liminal space between the visible and invisible, we’ll familiarize ourselves with these magical and often mischievous distant cousins of ours.

Healing Afflictions, Curses, and Possessions of the Faerie and Liminal Kind
Prerequisite: Meeting the Fair Folk and foundation training in depossession with Michelle or equivalent
We’ll learn about different afflictions, possessions, obsessions, and curses related to the broad range of these liminal beings, and how to facilitate helping them find their way back to their realms, for a peaceful outcome and healing.
We’ll discover why they attach to humans, symptoms. And look at a few complex beings that are part human and part other – like Berserkers and Selkies, and ailment that tend to be common to them.

Shamanism and Crystals
Working shamanically with crystals for the living beings that they are, is fascinating. You may realize you are surrounded by them, yet are unfamiliar with their names, and characteristics. They can be a power allie for healing, protection, restoration, and manifestation. We’ll journey to explore and learn more about their realm and get to know them. Discover how they can help us, and become our allies.
We’ll discuss how to program, charge, cleanse, and care for them, and learn about crystal grids for healing and manifestation. Not to mention discussing some favorite crystal books, shops, and crystals for specific purposes like protection.

Working with Non-Human Spirits – Depossession and Psychopomp
Prerequisite: foundation training in depossession with Michelle or equivalent
Learn how to identify non-human spirit attachments as well as ones that are around that can be troubling. How to strengthen your protection, and create allied relationships with gatekeepers and beings that can help relocate them safely to their realm. Some non-human beings that are benign, like trees and animals. We’ll look at these, as well as what are generally referred to as dark spirits like vampires, demons, and djinn to start, and see where the day takes us.

Complimentary Method for Advanced Diagnosis and Depossession
Prerequisite: all depossession classes above, or equivalent
This is a complimentary process for facilitating depossession that provides another way to diagnose what is blocking, causing harm, or chaos, and an effective method facilitating entities/spirts/beings to return to their appropriate place and time when the client is unable to to engage in the process of depossession. It’s also useful when there are a lot of spirits to be cleared, for entities that are difficult to find and diagnose, and ones that are not safe to engage with. The process is also less unsetting for clients because most of the work happens in a journey.
The way of diagnosing has a broader use beyond possessing spirits, it’s helpful in pinpointing other causes for what ails people, like thought forms, curses, etc. It’s intended as a complementary process in depossession work the way I was taught, have practiced for over 25 years, and have taught students.
When the client is able to participate in the process, it can be the most therapeutic and empowering way to help the deceased cross over for the living and deceased. It’s often what is needed an most effective. That’s why I refer to the process I’ve developed as complimentary, it’s adding to the tool box. When depossession is done well, there is a healing story that supports recovery from the effects of possessing spirits.
Another bonus, it’s a great way for practitioners to check and clear themselves.

You’ll learn shamanic journeying- the foundation of this year, how to navigate while in a trance state that allows access to the spirit world. This is the first step to to developing profound relationships with your guardian and teaching spirits, your spirit council, with discernment, boundaries, and protection practices. It will be part of everything else you learn: How to create sacred space, altars, gather your medicine, weave ceremony into your life, perform a divination, and transmute heavy energy. You’ll experience embodied kinship with nature that will provide vital sustenance for your spirit and soul, connect with your true essence, and powerful ways to work with your ancestors.
This first year is a stand alone program in becoming spiritually self empowered, establishing a foundation to building your confidence, skills, and knowledge, and restore the magic in your life. It’s an inward focus.

Shamanic Calling: Healing Arts Training and Mentorship
The second year’s focus of Shamanic Calling is the path of of a healer. It’s an immersion and initiation into the art and practice of shamanic healing. It’s an experiential training.
You will deepen your relationship with yourself and your spirit allies and council, with ritual, ceremony, the mysteries that have the potential to bring about profound results. As well as how to use your medicine responsibly.
Skills and practices include soul retrieval, extraction, death/dying/grief and helping the deceased cross over, space clearing, curse unraveling, depossession.
It’s woven in with ethics, boundaries, protection, sharpening and honing trust in your perception. You will have tools and support for integrating your experiences.
This training is focused on building a foundation, layer by layer, to work with others professionally. You’ll experience personal healing and transformation in the process.
We’ll have a forum and a small group you’ll work with in between sessions, along with exercises and virtual meet ups.
I’ve discovered over the years that when we meet any kind of learning circle there are 3 congruous tracks:
1. A curriculum
2. Lessons your council of helping spirits have in store for you
3. Power of the circle, with it’s unique alchemy providing another layer of experience, lessons, and responsibility
