Family and Systemic Constellations

The term constellations refers to “an assemblage, collection, or group of usually related persons, qualities, or things (a constellation of … relatives, friends, and hangers-on — Brendan Gill) ; a pattern, arrangement (taking advantage of the shifting constellation of power throughout the known world — H. D. Lasswell).” Constellation — Webster’s Dictionary

Systemic Constellations* is a profound way to uncover hidden dynamics and the greater story, to facilitate resolution for issues that have been frozen in time.  They begin to move and flow and transform before our very eyes. The outcome becomes a new vision to carry within, the affects ripple out into our life, and into our relationships.

One participant became crystal clear about a decision they had to make after weeks of going in circles.

Another found that after having a constellation set up for her, her elderly mother’s extended visits were enjoyable rather than a burden.

One participant had a new sense of compassion and respect for his father, and could feel his love in a way he never had before.

Another wept when they heard the words “I’m sorry”, as those two words crumbled the wall that had stood between them.

Yet another experienced peace and even danced in joy after struggling with anxiety and depression after end of a relationship.

Many have experienced a connection to their ancestor’s love and strength, touched by the understanding that they are never alone.

Family and Systemic Constellations give us access to the dynamic relational field within us, and without.  It exists outside the confines of space and time so that we also have access to the past, present, and future.   This Field is also known as the morphogenic field, and the Knowing Field. There is a lot written about this by  Lynne McTaggart, and Rupert Sheldrake, and others.

Most of all, this an embodied experience, as such we get it on a cellular level as much as we do with our mind.  This is part of constellation’s powerful healing effect.

It is especially good for addressing issues of belonging, health, relationships, entanglements, negative patterns, fate, how we see ourselves, releasing what is not ours to carry, reconnecting to sources of strength and love, and finding a good place.

We catch a glimpse into, and make right, ancestral, familial, interpersonal, and organizational dynamics. It’s a powerful tool to amend old beliefs, patterns, and perceptions. Here are a few of the things you might experience from a Family and Systemic Constellations session or workshop:

    • a relationship improve
    • life starts to flow again
    • you have clarity about a situation or important decision
    • you can face the future with confidence
    • a life issue transforms
    • a difficulty resolves
    • healing for a family pattern
    • a connection to your ancestral roots
    • healing for your ancestors
